Humans deserve healthy, loving and meaningful connections. Focusing on creating positive connections with those around you can increase the joy in daily life. My goal is to create a positive therapeutic relationship, one with empathy and free of judgment allowing you the ability to work on your own positive growth. It is important to me, that each client is given a safe and healing space to work through their difficulties. This is done through a collaborative process, guiding you to gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms and increase self-worth.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who specializes in individual, couples and family therapy. I am passionate about the family system and how our relationships affect our daily lives.

I am trained in Structural Family Therapy, always looking at the whole picture. I believe individuals, families, and couples are connected in their relationships by “invisible rules”. My work is to identify your patterns of interaction so they can be disrupted, causing a restructuring to more functional and healthy patterns. I am knowledgeable in Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I work with adolescent and adult individuals, couples, and families providing therapy for depression, anxiety, family relational problems, and relationship concerns.

I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University. I attended Elmira College as an undergrad, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I went on to spend ten years working directly with at risk youth and families in crisis.

When I am not counseling, I am spending time with my husband and three children, they keep me busy and passionate for life. I look forward to taking this journey with you, on both the difficult and rewarding paths to change.
