A three month relational group for singles.
Dating With Intention is a 3-month, cohort-based relational group for singles who want to date from clarity rather than fear.

This group is not about finding a partner, fixing yourself, or following dating rules that don’t actually work. It’s about changing how you relate to dating itself

Apply below. Spots are limited to keep the group intimate and workable.
Feb 25 deadline for March start dates!

This group is for you if you:
-
Feel like you keep repeating the same patterns, even when you “know better”
-
Tend to override your needs, ignore red flags, or get pulled by chemistry that doesn’t translate into fit
-
Notice pressure, timelines, or “shoulds” hijacking your choices
-
Want to date with more clarity, steadiness, and self-trust
-
Are open to a relational, process-focused group (not a class, not a lecture)

This group is not a fit if you:
-
Want a step-by-step method or guaranteed outcome
-
Want dating scripts, texting strategies, or quick-fix confidence coaching
-
Are looking for a drop-in support group (this is a cohort and builds over time)
Over the course of the group, you’ll:
-
Clarify your values and needs in relationship (not the version you think you should want)
-
Identify the assumptions you’ve absorbed about dating, partnership, timelines, and “success”
-
Understand how family-of-origin patterns shape attraction, avoidance, anxiety, and choice points
-
Practice using conversation as information (not performance)
-
Learn how to stay connected to yourself while dating, instead of abandoning yourself for momentum

FAQs
Is this therapy?
No.This is a relational, process-based group. It is not therapy, and it is not dating coaching. The focus is on understanding patterns, decision-making, and self-trust in dating rather than treatment or outcomes.
Do I have to be actively dating to join?
No.You can join if you’re dating now, taking a break, or preparing to re-enter dating with more clarity and intention.
Will this help me find a partner?
This group is not designed to guarantee an outcome. Its purpose is to help you approach dating differently and more intentionally.

Is it okay if I’m anxious, avoidant, picky, burned out, or frustrated with dating?
Yes.Those experiences are common starting points for this work. The group is designed to help you understand what’s happening rather than push you to “fix” yourself.
How is this different from dating coaching or advice-based groups?
We don’t offer strategies, scripts, or rules. The work is reflective and relational, focused on discernment rather than direction.
What actually happens in the sessions?
Sessions include guided discussion, reflection, and shared learning in a small group setting.
You’ll be invited to notice patterns, language, and assumptions rather than perform, problem-solve, or give advice.
Is this group confidential?
Yes. What is shared in the group stays in the group. Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not share personal stories or identities outside the group, including on social media.

How many people are in the group?
The group is limited to 12 participants to support meaningful discussion and cohesion. Groups are co-ed and participants are grouped by life stage to create cohesiveness.

Who runs the group?
The group is run by one of the licensed clinicians at Whole Soul Counseling. All clinicians are trained Marriage and Family Therapists, which means that we work from a relational lens.

Why is there an application?
The application helps ensure fit and group safety.
This isn’t about gatekeeping. It’s about creating a container where the work can actually happen.
What if I’m not accepted?
If the group fills or doesn’t feel like the right fit, you may be offered a waitlist or other options when available.
Is individual support required?
No. Individual sessions are not required to participate. Optional one-on-one support may be available for those who want additional space to process what they’re noticing.

Is this group in person or online?
This group meets virtually via a secure web-based platform. Sessions are live and interactive.
Do I need to be on camera?
Yes. Participants are expected to have their camera on for the duration of each session. Being visible is important for group connection, trust, and relational learning.
What technology do I need to participate?
You’ll need:
-
reliable internet access
-
a computer or laptop with audio and video capability
The group can technically be accessed on a phone or tablet, but this is not recommended due to:
-
difficulty viewing shared documents
-
limited ease of participation
-
reduced ability to stay engaged in discussion
What about accessibility?
We aim to make the group as accessible as possible within the bounds of a live, relational format.
If you have accessibility needs, sensory considerations, or support preferences, you’re encouraged to share that in the application so we can assess fit and accommodations where possible.
Are sessions recorded?
No.Sessions are not recorded to protect confidentiality and group safety.
What if I miss a session?
Because this is a cohort-based group, consistent attendance is important. Occasional absences may happen, but the group is not designed to be drop-in or watched later.

Can I join with someone I’ve dated or am dating?
No.To protect group safety and integrity, participants cannot currently be dating or have previously dated another participant in the group.
Can I share or reuse the material from the group?
No.The concepts and frameworks used in this group are part of a proprietary educational program. Recording, reproducing, or teaching the material elsewhere without permission is not permitted.
Is this group appropriate for therapists or helping professionals?
This group is not professional training. It’s designed for personal reflection and relational learning, not observation, skill acquisition, or replication for professional use. Applications are reviewed with this in mind.
